Members in the highlighted map areas should be receiving an automated calls starting Tuesday morning 8/12 around 10:00 am about possible right-of-way spraying in their area to begin around August 18th. IECA has contracted with Apex ROW to control the brush growing within the co-op's right-of-way. Later this month, Apex will be selectively applying a low-volume herbicide to the leaves of woody stemmed vegetation. Apex vehicles will be marked, and crews will be on foot carrying a backpack container. All products used are registered with the EPA, have no grazing restrictions for animals and will NOT be applied in maintained yard areas.
