Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association (IECA) has an opening for a Journeyman Lineman; a non-exempt position. This position will initially report to the Licking warehouse but has the potential to be relocated to another warehouse within the IECA service area. The position has generous full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a defined benefit retirement plan.
Under the direction of a Construction Foreman, the Journeyman Lineman will perform highly skilled work in installation, maintenance and repair of the electrical utility overhead and underground distribution system.
Applicant is required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and certification of completion of an approved electrical lineman apprentice program; must be qualified as a Journeyman Lineman.
Applicant selected must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment background check, and a post-offer WorkSTEPS functional employment test.
